Kurelic: Ewers what I know, what I’m told; top campers at Ohio State – 247Sports

Good afternoon Bucknuts members and visitors! There is plenty going on with Ohio State football recruiting so let’s get started! I will of course have plenty more throughout the night and tomorrow.

1) During the month of June I saw many great players at the many Ohio State football camp sessions. I want to start today by highlighting four of them I loved. At quarterback, the Buckeyes offered a number of prospects from the 2023 and 2024 classes. The two guys at the top of my list are Nicholaus Iamaleava from the 2023 class and Jadyn Davis from the class of 2024. If either or both wanted to commit to the Buckeyes right now I would look for them to be able to do that.

Let’s move to wide receiver. The guy I absolutely loved was Carnell Tate. When he was working with Brian Hartline demonstrating how to do one of the drills he could have passed for a current Ohio State wide receiver, he was that impressive. The Buckeyes would love to get a commitment from Tate. I see the battle for Tate to be too close to call right now between Ohio State and Notre Dame.

Let’s move to defense and in particular linebacker. There were some very, very good ones I saw at Ohio State in June – a number of linebackers I would take right now. The guy from the 2023 and 2024 classes I have at the very top of my list is Troy Bowles. He is special and he is absolutely considering the Buckeyes and will be back at Ohio State for a game this season.

Now let’s move to Quinn Ewers in item No. 2…
