Coronavirus in Israel: 2,114 new cases, 2.95% of tests return positive – The Jerusalem Post

Some 2,114 new cases of the novel coronavirus were reported in Israel on Sunday, with 2.95% of tests returning positive, according to a Monday morning update by the Health Ministry.

Of those infected, 212 were in serious condition and 42 were on ventilators. The death toll rose to 6,477, with three deaths reported since Sunday morning.

On Sunday, 30,700 Israelis 60-years-old and older and Israelis with weakened immune systems received a third dose of the coronavirus vaccine. So far, about 45,000 Israelis have received the third dose.
